I like that these hearts are asymmetrical and not "perfectly shaped" hearts. The Triangles in the foreground create a natural frame that is more abstract than the heart, but still a triangular shape. It's kind of like a grid of boxes where you start to see more boxes than before. Same with the hearts, the more you look, the more "heart like shapes" you see.
